We are proud to be working with Beacon House supporting those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to deliver a new primary healthcare centre. We love the challenge of working creatively, in close collaboration with builders, with budgets that are always too small, to find ways of satisfying the brief without compromising our clients’ vision.
Recent portfolio work includes preparing feasibility studies for Essex primary schools who are planning for expansion from two forms per year to four forms per year. We have designed and delivered a new nursery/after-school block and new staff-room extension to a coastal Infant School. Designing for schools brings safety and scheduling challenges, with construction work often only possible outside term time.
This involves substantial preparatory and consultation with trustees and community groups, presenting drawings and models to clients with a great range of requirements.
